Administrative/Purchasing Assistant
JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administrative duties related to purchases including processing, receiving reports and ensuring order acknowledgements are received and accurate for all orders
- Prepare Load Reports for installation companies for each model home installation
- Work closely with Haven’s Warehouse Manager to ensure orders received are accurate and allotted to the correct job
- Work closely with vendors, installation companies and Haven’s Warehouse Manager to process claims for damaged products in a timely manner
- Contact suppliers when necessary to inquire about product availability and to follow up on backorders
- Track all orders to ensure job deadlines are met, to include communicating with vendors and freight companies when necessary to ensure that all critical deliveries arrive by the job deadline
- Advise the Haven Design Team in a timely manner of any delivery delays that will affect their project
- Assist Office Manager in Administrative duties
- Assist with booking travel arrangements for design staff
- Adhere to deadlines and timelines for all design projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Some College Preferred
- Experienced with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) & GoogleDocs
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week – Flexible work environment
- Self Motivated and deadline driven
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with supervisors, coworkers and vendors.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail with proven follow through skills
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task with a customer service mindset
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Team player willing to go the extra mile for our customers

Position Available as of February 2022: Interior Designer
Haven Design Works, an Atlanta based award winning, industry leading interior design firm is seeking a talented, motivated designer with a killer eye for design to join our growing team. We specialize in model home, club house and sales center interior merchandising across the eastern United States and we are seeking an individual with a passion for design to grow with our team. Ideal candidates would be a self-motivated team player, driven, creative, hardworking and organized with an exceptional eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in construction drawings, including millwork & electrical drawings
- Knowledge and experience in FF & E, selection and development
- Procurement of all furnishings, accessories, lighting, artwork & soft goods
- Project management from conception to installation including working within timelines, communicating with vendors and contractors and managing a budget
- Collaborate with team on community projects
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously, in a fast paced work environment
Job Requirements:
**Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design** (no exceptions!)
- +2 years in commercial or hospitality Interior Designer role
- Microsoft Office-Power Point, Excel, Word
- AutoCAD
- Revit or SketchUp preferred
- Frequent Travel Required (driving & flying)- GA, SC, NC, VA, DC, PA, IL, FL
- Excellent Communication skills-written and verbal
